Suicide teens web mystery
TWO teenage girls hanged themselves in a suicide pact after leaving bizarre messages to their friends on an internet site. Police said Jodie Gater and Stephanie Gestier, both 16, were found hanging from tree branches in bushland in Victoria's Dandenong Ranges yesterday... The girls were part of the "emo" subculture, a music and fashion movement. An "emo person" is considered to be open about their emotions, sensitive and often quiet.
